Marcus, a qualified naval architect with over 25 years in the rig-building industry, has been CEO of Energy Drilling since 2012. He began his career at Keppel FELS and later led major offshore projects at Smedvig (now Seadrill), including the delivery of 10 modern tender rigs. He holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from École Centrale de Nantes and a PMD from Harvard Business School. Marcus also serves on the board of Energy Drilling’s parent company, Energy Holdings, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
